Moving a psychotherapist’s website from Webflow

2 min read

How Claudia Hoffmann’s practice website in Varese is moving from Webflow to Abluo: twelve pages, fourteen articles, every image and every old URL.

Claudia Hoffmann is a psychologist and psychotherapist in Varese, offering individual therapy, couples support and personal growth paths, in person and online. Her website runs on Webflow. Moving it to Abluo meant bringing everything across: pages, articles, photos and every address.

Extract first, then build

Nothing was retyped. Pages, blog posts and images were read from Webflow and frozen as one content set before any page was built. That set became the reference: the new site is checked against it, not against memory or screenshots.

  • Twelve pages, including the service pages, about, curriculum and contact.
  • Fourteen blog articles, with their categories and author.
  • Forty-three images, each one a media library item with alt text, grouped into four galleries.

Rich text that survives the move

Blog articles were converted from Webflow’s HTML into structured text, keeping headings, lists, bold, italics and links. The conversion was tested in both directions before anything was imported, so no article lost its formatting on the way.

URLs that keep working

Her service pages lived under a folder, like servizi/terapia-individuale. Abluo did not support nested addresses yet, so the platform learned them, for every site and in every language. Old addresses that change get permanent redirects, and the retired blog categories redirect to their successors. Links and search rankings are meant to carry over unchanged.

A design system of her own

Her site’s soft sage and cream tones were kept as a starting point and grown into a proper design system, with real typography, spacing and a light theme locked in place. The contact form moved onto the Forms module.

The new site is in final review on a private preview before it moves to her domain.
